I was driving past Lowe's and saw this lengthy patch of wild sweet peas being enjoyed by numerous bees. I liked this best of the photos I took. Will post one with a bee in my Potpourri Album. http://365project.org/skipt07/potpourri/2012-06-16
That is beautiful! How do you do the black background? I was out at a National Park today (start of their wildflower festival). Have to go through all my photos yet.
@lynnb - Thank you very much Lynn you are very kind! Actually the background isn't black just very dark. I learned this by accident years ago with my film camera. When I see a flower or flowers I like I move around them looking for the ones that are off by themselves or are taller then the others then I look among those to see which offer the best background either deep shadow or a tree maybe then I position myself so that when I focus on the subject the background is directly behind it. I also use an fstop around 9 to get as much of the flowers in focus as possible. When I focus on the flowers that are in brighter light the background will be or appear to be darker. If not I can do some manipulation in Photoshop to darken the background more.
