Mull-Over-March Word of The Day. Today of course is the first day of March and in my part of the world it came in like a lion. It is cold with a mixture of rain/snow. The daffodils popped out of the ground in early February during a warm spell. They are still buds covered by their protective coating, but you can see where some of the leaves have been burnt by the frigid cold.
AH, wonderful shot. . .just like here, although I do think yours are a bit ahead of us. We had snow again today and I just fear for their little lives.
Thank you all so much for your thoughtful comments and Fav! The poor daffodils really look bad now, they are all limp, with the extended cold we have been experiencing. I have a feeling that Spring won't have the beautiful flowers like last year. I hope I am wrong.
