When we had sunny days we had little if any snow. Now with all the snow there is little if any sun.

Nice treatment. Winter scapes under those heavy grey skies usually look dull and depressing. By switching this to black and white I think you have highlighted the beauty, The stream looks lovely with all the very still reflections.
