I saw the words printed on a plaque in a gift shop and thought I'd do my own version of it.

I like this a lot and your chosen image is rather intriguing. I must remember this saying - one of my favourites (seen years ago on a banner over a church door) is: "If God seems far away... guess who's moved".
So glad you did this ... it made me pause and think for sure. Also made me smile to think that all the things I'm not thankful for would be gone...but then, maybe those irritants are needed so that I can remember to be thankful. Too much thinking! but I will remain thankful....
Yikes! A chilling thoght indeed! Everything is a lot of life. I suspect it would take more than every moment of every day to single out every single thing I'm grateful, thankfull, or appreciative for. Thanks for the thoughts you have stimulated. Fav
I know I'd have a soft pillow and a warm bed because one of my last thoughts was "Thank you Lord for the comfort and blessing of this bed at the end of this day." Thanks for the inspirational thought.
@vignouse - The sign you saw above the church door is true Richard. I know in my own life there have been times when God seems far away and I begin to realize that is the case because I was the one who has withdrawn in my relationship with Him. I believe He does that to get my attention to come back because God promised us that He would never leave us or forsake us.
