Winter Hibiscus by skipt07

Winter Hibiscus

It was a big surprise to see this bloom on our indoor hibiscus plant. I thought I would use my Yongnuo 560 Mark III speedlight to practice my very poor lighting skills. I've been watching Youtube videos to learn my flash since it was made in China and the manual isn't very helpful.
Pretty flower shot.

Fabulous colour, lovely details. I didn't know that you could grow hibiscus inside. I guess if they are grown in a pot you can control how big they get.

@salza - It is a plant our daughters bought for my wife that produces two colors of flower. One like this and one that is more of a red. We were thinking about transplanting it into a larger pot but got to thinking that it has been producing more flowers lately so we are wondering if it does better being root bound?
