@danette@gardencat@beryl@taffy@juliedduncan@gamelee - I know that this barn has existed for at least 40 years because I use to drive past it every day on my way to work and it is still standing so to speak. It was and maybe still is owned by a well-known farming family although this is a small farm and I don't recall seeing any animals or signs of planted fields for a good while. Let's hope that they get this on a firmer foundation before any strong thunderstorms pass through. Thank you for your kind comments!
A lovely old barn with some work on it.
As a lot is destroyed with the big flood in 1953 we don`t many old ones left. The second reason is : economy. New ones are better to be used and cheaper.
