My wife and I were in town to get some minor work done on my car. Fifteen minutes before the work was finished storm warnings went up on the TV in the waiting room and on cellphones. A few minutes later as I waited for my wife to come out from getting a couple of items in a store next to the dealership, I watched as shopper after shopper exited the store, saw the darkening sky and wind picking up and made a mad dash to their cars before the rains let loose.
I know all too well that this photo doesn't give you the same feeling I had of being under those ominous clouds, but it made me think about Jesus' second coming and how the people of earth would respond on that day.
Will they run for cover? Look with disbelieving eyes? Or raise their hands welcoming Him?
Revelation 1:7 says, "Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him.”
