Fleeting Sunset

It looked to be a good chance for a colorful sunset and so I walked up the lane to the neighbor's, who is a farmer, and shoot across his now barren corn field in hopes of getting clear of the trees that block our view of the western sky. But still there were trees in the distance.

I understand your frustration with the trees! But in this case they seem to highlight the intensity of the colors. The reflection on the clouds is also compelling. Nice shot!
