I admit that cellphones are a great device to have, but when you run across people like this who use them to keep themselves entertained while doing the mundane things in their lives and they talk like they are yelling to somebody across the street. . .come on!! If you want to participate in airing your Pet Peeve, I created a Theme: Pet Peeves- http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/13526/pet-peeves
I always wonder what in the world is THAT important...and feel sorry for the cashier that has to wait because these folks can't get off the darn phone!
@janets - When I talk to someone on the phone, whether landline or cell I don't want people listening in no matter if it is important or not. But when you are forced to listen in, because of loudness, you never hear anything that sounds dire. We had a friend, before caller ID, who would call and want to talk to us while she washed dishes.
I have seen signs in some stores that say they will not wait on people who are on phones.
I'm with you on this point. It's such a rude thing to do. It's no wonder that people don't acknowledge another human face to face anymore. Or rarely. Grr... Great idea though, maybe we should just start snapping shots of people on their phone at inappropriate times. lol Now I'm just ranting.
@marlboromaam - If you couldn't tell by the blue checkout, that's where this took place. Thanks for the comment Maggie! I wasn't really looking for them since I took this with my phone.
@mandyj92 - Maybe that would be a good Challenge for 365 - Pet Peeves
@groovygirlrn - Thank you Sheri! I'm surprised that I took 3 shots (with phone) and she never realized it. Maybe that because we see so many people walking around with phones in their hands. They are playing with some app!
@vickisfotos - Thank you for the comment and the support Vicki!!
I'm with you.
@lorella - :)
