Eight thousand police officers from across Canada and from the United States came to pay their last respect to Sgt. Ryan Russell, Toronto Police, and attend his funeral service. At lunch I thought I'd snap some pictures, but alas, I missed the procession. The nice thing was (despite the misty rain) the road closures around the convention centre made for easy movement. I chatted with two (gorgeous) police officers coming back to work.
I took this picture from the side of a large bus and posting it here in appreciation of the visitors who came to pay tribute to Toronto's fallen hero.
