red door

"i see a red door and i want it painted black..."

the sun, the shadow, the snow, the muted colour of the concrete and the colour of the door itself. why, you can even feel the cold and the dampness! my p&s is well today (maybe the darn thing is alive...it sensed that i was internet shopping for a camera).

it's an elevator to the other side of the world. the problem is when you get there, a sign is posted "Temporarily closed for maintenance". The sign has been posted there for years and the elevator works only one way. *just imagining*
