old building on king street by summerfield

old building on king street

on day 96 (april 6), i posted a picture of a building's pillars. this is that building. it is on the northeast corner of king street east and jarvis street. it used to be the office of one of canada's oldest banks. a small lawfirm (or probably an architect's office) now holds business there, although don't take my word for it.

see the lampost in the foreground on the right? if you look closely there's real flame in it as this is the part of the street where the lamps are still lit with gas.
very nice framing! =)

@ilseal - i know in the next few years, i am going to go and visit prague. and i will go back to europe and take photos of the shops in amsterdam and the countryside, as well as the castles in belgium and luxembourg, and drink a glass of wine again at falstaff in bruxelles. there's a man who lives there and he has my heart (and he used to live in prague!) :-)

@ilseal - i love amsterdam. maybe i will visit next year. i've written a short story about my stay there 26 years ago. i swear i was a dutch girl in one of my previous lives because everything looked so familiar to me and it was my first time to visit. you have a beautiful country, you know.
