so far away

to take this photo, i had to get off the car and stand on the side of wynford drive about 20 kilometers from the downtown core (almost became road kill as i think i accidentally stepped off the curb onto the road whilst a truck was passing). and there it is, the CN tower; can be seen for miles and miles away. no processing here, just the usual framing.

it could've easily been a hot muggy day but for some wind. tomorrow, they're calling for thunderstorms. CN tower in the rain? we'll see. the tip of the tower though catches a lot of lightning.
nice framing, I like the muted blue tone of the city buildings and the tower. Would love to see it hit by lightning, but that would be a very lucky shot :)

@cscecil - well, i'm thinking of scaling the tower....kidding! i don't know, i'm thinking i'd get a roll of film, load the old minolta and lug the tripod and the telephoto lens and then drive to niagara falls, stand on the highest spot i could find and point across the lake to toronto and take a shot. or i could just do a night shot maybe. hehehe. thanks, CS.
