"i'm ready for my close up, mr. de mille"

here's another case of the tower stalking me! so what do i do? take its photo!

actually, this happened yesterday while i was walking past the harbourfront. i looked to my right and there it was. which was a good thing because today it was rather cold and i didn't bring a jacket so i didn't go on my usual walkabout and hence unable to take any photos. in any case, i think you've seen enough of the tower during the day, about time i do some night shots, which i intend to do in the very near future :-)

this part of the tower that you see is where the "360-degree restaurant" is. it is a revolving restaurant and it takes about an hour (more or less) to make a full turn. there is also a bar, "Horizon's Bar" billed as the "highest bar" in the world. the tower also boasts of the "highest wine cellar" in the world. below the restaurant is the look out and the glass floor. according to the tower's marketing people, the floor is so sturdy that it can hold about 45 rhinos all at once. just how they got to that conclusion is beyond me much less how they got the 45 rhinos up there! the smaller nodule halfway up is the "skypod" where one can go and have a complete look-see of the entire city and suburbs in just under 10 minutes. and on a clear day, you can even see the mist of the niagara falls (which i had seen last year in one of my many treks to the tower), about 128 kilometres to the southeast across lake ontario.

for more information on the CN tower, you might want to visit www.cntower.ca.
Great shot! I love your tower collection!

@roth - all day breakfast? where?!? is it a busy place? when i'm up and about, an all day breakfast is perfect for me. and around harbourfront i don't know of any. i should like to see your shot. maybe we start a thread on the discussion board calling all canadians to post their CN tower shots. i wonder how many of us would show up? :-)

I agree...you can see so many possibilities for shots of the tower that you couldn't choose just one :-)

I like this one the best of the tower collection, I like the contrast of the trees and the tower (hard and soft).
