it takes very little to make this little boy laugh.
two months ago, we were in the car with his big brother and partner/grandpa who was driving. grandpa (knowing the boys were itching to go back to the apartment so they could play with their ps3) decided to make one more stop at the drugstore to find a big nail clipper. (two days before the boys came, grandpa made a big boo-boo on his toe as he tried to clip his nails with a regular nail clipper.)
the boys made the usual "aaaahhhh!"
then i said to grandpa: why, so you would make a bigger cut on your toe?
that was enough to make little happy here launch into a long laughing fit. he hasn't forgotten that very funny remark that lola made so he still gets into a very contagious laughing fit everytime.
I can just hear the giggles and contagious laughter! Kids are so wonderful in how the smallest things will send them into squeals of delight! What a fun story! Again, love the effect you created here!!!
@cscecil - thanks, CS. this boy and his big brother, when they go into a laughing fit, they don't stop at all. of course, it doesn't help that they inherited my family's weird sense of humour. again, thank you; much appreciated.
Isn't it just wonderful how they find humour in the smalles things? I wish I could laugh as easily as my boys do sometimes. How saw us adults lose the spontaniety of laughing as we get older. Such a happy, fun picture.
@altadc - thank you, alta. @bkbinthecity - he's looking at a toy we just got him in this photo, that's why! thank you. @jobesekama - thank you, beth. @deens - i know, we forget that laughter is the best cure for anything. thank you, nadine.
