same setting wednesday - on the streets of toronto

i've taken so many shots of this door of my bank's building but i don't think i've ever posted one. both old and new building on the right is owned by the same bank. that big glass canopy is the entrance to the main bank lobby where you go through an automatic revolving door. the door on the old building is, i think, permanently closed. methinks.

today we had fog and mists the whole day. you can see the result of the mists on the ground. also at 6:30 there are not a lot of people around this courtyard. people have either gone home or at the nearby eaton centre mall.

sooc but for the name tag.

thank you, ladies and gentlemen, for your views and comments; i love them!

I like all the different textures- the marble or granite plaza, the glass, the stone and a little hint of shrubbery. Nice.

Really nice street/architectural capture. I like the fact there are no people in this shot. Nice and clean. I really like the look of the old door. Well captured.

The missing people makes this feel like a stage set after the audience has gone home. We could go out in that big emptiness and dance our hearts out.

My very first job as a summer student was at that location at CIBC. That's when all the tellers were upstairs and we named that location the 'Fish Bowl' because of all the windows and people walking by outside could view you at any point. :)
