@pandorasecho - thank you, dixie. i've never really paid attention to this building as around it are ugly other buildings that get in the photo most of the time, or there are to many people around there all the time because it is right next to toronto's shopping mall. if you feel like walking around it yourself, be sure i'm with you and discovering all the nooks and crannies of this building.
@salza - thank you, sally. i love country living; life is simple and quiet. i did stay with partner in their farm house many years ago when his mother was still alive and needed minimum care. my problem was that i had to commute a total of 4 hours to and from work, and it was not an easy commute - traffic to drive to the station, running after trains and train delays. too much stress. wisely, i kept my flat in the city for nights when there is bad weather or when i needed to be at the office real early. so after his mother died, we moved back to the city. we'd want to live in the country again probably when we're both retired.
