Mouth of the Chicago River by taffy

Mouth of the Chicago River

Great day for a walk downtown! From here, kayaks, canoes, boats can leave Chicago and head out to open sea via Lake Michigan. I also like the leading line ("lines" being the Mull-Over-March word of the day) of the river out to the lake.
My other shot from today's walk is in my extras album: http://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2013-03-03
Lovely colours here.

Hi Taffy, we're partnered for this week's get pushed challenge, and I've enjoyed looking through your albums and seeing what you've done so far. I've noticed you don't have a lot of people in your shots, so this week, your challenge is to try your hand at street photography. Good luck, and I hope you have fun with it! Can't wait to see what you come up with!

@melissapike Ah -- a great challenge for me! Anything with people (including selfies, which I noticed you had said in one of yours) is something I avoid. I've started thinking about sites.

I loved those bridges when I was in Chicago. Though it was cold, I often stood on them and watched the river and world pass by.
