Walking in the 'North Michigan' area, along Rush Street at mid-day. The Hancock building, one of the city's tallest, was dwarfed by the two residential towers that were closer to me. Not quite forced perspective, but I'm just more aware of perspective because of Technique Challenge 12 (please submit!). It's a beautiful structure and I liked the way it was framed against the deep blue sky.
We're off to San Francisco early tomorrow and I'm not sure of internet or time situation. I'll be catching up on your photos over the next week, I suspect. I hope everyone has a great weekend. Thank you all for your wonderful comments and personal responses to "Waiting," my remembrance posting from yesterday.
This is great too. The only time I ever went up there, I was in the cocktail bar at the top when an electrical storm hit, without my camera! Really great composition.
@seanoneill Sean, thanks so much for your viewing and favs and wonderful comments. You've made my day -- especially the comment about the Golden Rainglow on the university plaza building. I can't imagine being on top of the Hancock in a storm!! Spooky feeling.
