Full day of fun today in San Francisco. We started at the Ferry Building market this morning, walking the mile from our hotel. Mornings here are typically cloudy or foggy. From the edge of the Ferry Building plaza, looking toward the bridge, I liked how mystical it looked so used Silver Efex to try to heighten that a bit. The birds were cooperative in showing up when they did.
I'm barely keeping up with posting, but did get to read and enjoy your comments today, while on the go and will be catching up over the next week.
Notes for self re today's activity:
1. Ferry Market Building
2. Lunch at Slanted Door -- terrific
3. 1776 musical at the ACT Geary Theater
4. Sunset catamaran cruise through the SF Bay
5. Dinner - blue mermaid near Fisherman's Wharf
6. Trolly (tram) back to hotel
Loved SF. So much to see and do and the weather is so surprising, we had one day where it was so hot and the next day it was freezing fog. This picture reminds me of happy times there.
Beautiful capture that portrays the simple beauty of the bridge, the moody weather of the bay area, and the surprise delights of the birds showing up to add to the image.
Heehee!! Actually, this was the day that did him in! Mile walk to Ferry building in morning, photos of bridge, brunch, walk/streetcar back, quick clothes change, matinee of 1776, rush to cab, rush to sunset cruise, walk 1 mile to dinner. Next morning...he sent me off to photograph while he relaxed and watched the bears game in the room!
@taffy - Awesome, happy to hear you had an awesome time in SF. Really lovin' your photos! So cool that just the bridges alone could give you a wide variety of photos!
I love San Francisco - such a great and fun City.
