This iris reflects how we felt as we visited Kinosaki, the town on the sulfa springs with the traditional baths. We wore kimono-like robes and wooden shoes, but carried umbrellas everywhere. The weather cleared eventually and even when it did rain, it never stopped us. Taken on the 12th.
@redy4et Heehee -- we have photos but I looked so awful the whole trip (very humid, so very curly hair cut for a straight style -- total disaster) -- that I'll never post one! I will of others in the group, or where I'm tiny in the photo.
What a totally drenched flower. Sure shows how much rain was coming down. Love your comment about your hair. You should post at least one photo of you on your trip or maybe one of the others on the trip will.
