Taking a Little Rest

More macro photography today, mostly focused on bugs. I liked the way this one was grabbing so tightly on this twig of grass. Neither could weigh ore than a few ounces. I'd been wanting to capture a dragonfly all week, so it was pretty exciting when one came by and stayed still for a few seconds.

they seem to like to cling to dry bits of things...congrats on finding a specimen that sat still for more than a few seconds! i like for the shallow focus hits the nose, edge of the wing and forearm.
