I was comfortably ensconced in the recliner, uploading my chosen photos from today, and just about ready to finish up when Jim shouted to me to look at the sun. I looked up to see this brilliant red stripe across the horizon and down the lake so grabbed camera (remembering to reinsert memory card!) and ran outside to get the shot. Totally forgot about the mozzies out there, but they had not forgotten about me! Oh well...I liked the way this one came out which is good because after just a few shots, much buzzing in my ear, I ran back inside. As you can see, we hadn't seen the sun all day -- it just peaked out before setting for the night. It's already dark out now.

@888rachel Just thought of you as I read your comment again -- it's a totally beautiful day, sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky. So the saying applied!
