I liked the way the sun was casting such long shadows. I was surprised at how cracked the crosswalk has become over the winter. Roadwork ahead.
Thanks for your fun comments about the wacky look under the Bean. Always appreciated!
Great capture! The parking lot at school is just horrible, too. The uneven surface was the cause of my torn meniscus!

Pretty end-of-the-day silhouette accentuating the cracks of the weather-worn road and the cross walk lines. I really enjoy these "sun going down" shots.
Very creative use of light and shadows! Our roads have been bad for years now and each winter there are more potholes! They patch them up but it never lasts long!
Umlike your legs image from Prague, this one seem to work well for me - I think it is the long vertical shadows coming from the vertical legs, contrasting with the horizontals of the pedestrian crossing - all very well placed and framed.
Would have been a great shadow picture even without the cracks on the road surface, but they add so much extra interest. Very well seen and captured, just the right amount of the actual legs in the shot.
Gosh, you really are in some roadwork! Love the way you've captured the shadows Taffy. Very clever to line up the leg shadows with the edge of the zebra stripes. Great horizontal and vertical lines. Fav.
