On our photowalk with the pro photographer, we went into a neighborhood with wonderful protest graffiti lining some of the narrow streets. This park area fascinated me -- the white space is a movie screen for outdoor theater. Viewed large on black you can see the art on the left shows natural elements while to the right it's all corporate. To each side you can see typical apartment buildings and balconies in areas that are less posh than we usually walked through. This is a combination of three portrait oriented shots, lined up in picmonkey because PS did not understand (I think) the apartment building on the left lining up to the graffiti!
Junko's street shot captured a typical scene we passed as we walked in this area: http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2015-12-21
Thank you for your kind birthday wishes and all your wonderful comments on the Sagrada Familia, graffiti, and market shots!

So much to study and take in! Excellent artwork there on the front wall — the chess set feels 3D, as if the one piece is actually going to hit the ground.
Three portrait shots combined -- no wonder yours is so much more the "big picture" of where we are than my piddly one shot of the theatre area. Well done!
I like the center mural and how the old raval quarter ( I suppose) fights against the "invasion" of the new trending shops. I hope they can win the chess play ;)
Such an interesting image Taffy! So much to look at! What a great space this community has and it looks well used! I love Spain in the evenings when after work the families come out for a walk before dinner. Everywhere comes alive in the evenings!
Can you tell me what that program is that you use all the time other than PS. I think you used it first. Something like silverflex. My brain has forgotten the name.
@joansmor I think you mean Nik Suite which includes Color Efex, Silver Efex, HDR Efex, etc. I mostly use Color and Silver from that suite and find them to be great programs.
@vignouse The local photographer as guide was really great. I don't know that it's ideal if you are looking for instruction, as it seems most guides have prearranged ideas of what you are able to do (and usually underestimate), but he was very focused on getting us to a range of areas and with a range of types of photography, all as a walking tour of the city. I was also impressed that he did not bring his own camera, instead focusing on our photography. I've had a course (the one in Death Valley) where the instructors were first in line to get the 'best' shot.
I'm viewing this on my small tablet so can't get all the detail you talk about so it is frustrating. What I do see looks really interesting. Good combination of shots
