Dinner shortly and then off to see Beautiful, the musical, so I'm quite excited and know there won't be time to post later. Another landscape and a Where's Waldo fun for those who want to play. It's b&w for flash-of-red February, but there is a tiny bit of color on the runner's hat. Probably need to view large to find him -- and may not be able to even then, which is why I thought the red hat at least gives you a chance!
Wishing you a good start to your weekend!
Update: DO NOT READ IF WANTING TO FIND HIM ON YOUR OWN
Congrats to those who did find him unaided! And thanks to those who returned after I sent the hint. The red hatted runner is VERY hard to find -- I knew he was there when I took the shot and couldn't find him for a long time even on the large screen. He's at the base of the tree in the background on the right hand side. Teeeeeny!
Odd. I looked and looked and looked, no luck. I went to Flickr to see if you posted it there. I figured I could get a larger view, nope, it's not there...
I did some stuff around the house, and came back to this, and what do you know, I spotted it immediately.
Ok. I am blind; can't see him. I love that the number of trees are multiple, but it reads 3 on impact and their branches reach out and grab your attention.
OK, OK, I cheated... I took a copy of the shot, duplicated it in Photoshop, desaturated one copy and put it into Difference mode above the other - The hat stuck out like a sore thumb!
I couldn't see it on my Kindle so now have it enlarged on my huge screen and yes there it is!! LOL!! Wonderful B&W landscape Taffy!! It looks great on the big screen!! Fav!
@carolmw@rosiekind Aw...thanks for coming back. I can't believe when I took the shot and knew he had the red hat on, I literally thought to myself "Darn, he ruined my shot!" DUH!
Nice where's Waldo hunt. It took a minute, but was able to spot the runner. It added to the fun of your photo today. Thanks! I hope you enjoyed the musical and your night out.
Gosh Taffy, I looked and looked but had to resort to your instructions. Love a good mystery. What a great winter landscape shot, great composition, wonderful bare trees and vegetation and a path into the distance. Bingo.
Thank you Taffy for letting me know where the figure is. I think I've spotted him on the left side of the tree at the right of the picture but I don't see any color there. I guess that is him. I really do appreciate you letting me know..
Oh, Taffy, I finally found him. Hurray! I had to save it on my computer and blow it up real big and finally saw him. He wasn't where I first thought he was. I will now delete the photo.
@linnypinny It takes a large screen to see this, I think. And it's weird that on the site it's more of an orange hat, but the original, it's bright red.
I did some stuff around the house, and came back to this, and what do you know, I spotted it immediately.
