Rainstorm in the Mountains

The sky opened up with rain and high winds, which we waited out in the car. You could see the snow blowing across the roadside as the rain pelted the car. Ironically, this is a high desert area and rain is extremely rare. Of course, it had to be the day of our road trip through Snowy Range.
