Lots of Color - Andie Walk Stop #3

If you look at Andie's shot, I bet you can tell we were standing almost next to each other with similar focal points - you will be seeing double! Here's the link:
http://365project.org/ukandie1/365/2017-12-21 . I had pretty much forgotten this stop as I deleted all but one of the ones I took as they were pretty much rubbish. So, all I can post is one very much like Andie's. Really, can't wait to get to our NEXT stop, the Bean, where I have photos that I like!
Stunning picture.

@jocasta Many thanks! The joys of the city are numerous, of course. They also make a good contrast with Beaver Island as there is joy in the quiet solitude that offers (like a small village) as well! Happy holidays!

Fabulous night shot as always

Great shot! Your city is wonderful - having that central structure changing colour gives each photo such a different feel. I would also like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy and safe Christmas and New Year. Your beautiful images have been a highlight of my first year in the 365 community and your encouragement has been much appreciated. Cheers Rob

@francoise Thanks! They cover the field and it's what the speakers hang from for the concerts.

@northy Yes -- at night, when it's lit, it changes colors.

@robz Thank you so much for such a lovely comment. I've enjoyed your photos and am glad to have been part of your 'team.'

Fascinating colors is your and Andie's shots. I've loved looking at your night shots.

Don't feel bad about our shots being pretty much the same, I think from that location, there were only two shots to be had, from a distance or cropped in. The lighting was quite tricky, on both of the shots I posted there are blown out highlights in the red zone. I would like to go back there at night and concentrate on the pritzker pavillion from different angles. From the side with the city in the background as well as some closer abstract shots. What do you think?

@ukandie1 Totally agree. I think having done our 'overview' it makes so much sense to go to an area for focus each time, especially at night in the winter. Too cold to do too much. Thoughts: (a) Pritzker from all sides for sure, (b) the Pier along the harbor and near the Shakespeare Theatre new one, The Yard, has lots of possibilities, (c) museum campus on one of the warmer nights or the icy ones, and (d) one of the places from a north beach that you're more familiar with. In no particular order.
