As the sun came out Jane and I looked opposite the sunset and sure enough, there was the rainbow we had hoped to see. Then we realized it was a double. I decided to process this quite a bit to bring out the colors in the sky and not just the rainbow. It wasn't this visible to the naked eye, but using dehire in Lightroom brought out the colors. I used Color Efex to bring out the details in the clouds. It's a bit over the top, but it fit how it felt.

I think this shows what we experienced to the T. Nicely done. It’s hard to imagine following up with your shots with mine since I’m really liking what you’ve done and want to find my own vision...ah well
@jgpittenger I purposely used this one instead of the one with the Stop sign as I remembered your saying you really liked it with the sign. I did too -- stop and see the rainbow. I'm glad you liked mine! And my tripod pieces should be arriving tomorrow -- yay!
