Nothing like the taste of fresh raisin-walnut bread to get the morning off to a good start.
Today is prep day for delivery of photos to the art fair tomorrow.
Thanks for your kind comments and visits, as always!
I knew this was your image as I scrolled down!! Your food shots are always so inviting. My favourite bread too!! Good luck for the art fair I will be thinking of you. I know I would buy one of your images so I am sure they will be very successful! What were the final images you chose? Fav for your loaf!!
This looks and sounds wonderful. Those are coleus leaves in the vase, right? I have lots of Coleus, I never thought of cutting some stalks to enjoy in the house. Your’s look wonderful, they balance the photo. Good luck at the art fair. I so wish you could print the Lake McDonald photo, it would sell first thing! 😊
@helenhall Yes! I used to make bread by hand a lot, and now am totally lazy, but think the bread maker is the best invention ever! It does help to know how to actually make it, as glitches do occur, but overall, it's such a timesaver.
@louannwarren Forgot to add...yes, Coleus leaves...I'm rooting them (turns out it's quite easy) and collecting enough to plant one of the pots on the deck.
@fbailey It's homemade if you count a breadmaker! As I said to Helen, I think it's one of the most convenient inventions ever. Useful to know how bread is made, but certainly a huge time saver.
Now that looks a beautiful wholesome loaf , these rustic ,fibre full breads are wonderful and I do love the sound of " raisin and walnut " - beautiful breakfast bread ! fav
@jgpittenger There have been moments of peace between prep for the show...and lovely to have the house back to quiet again, even having had a good time with company chaos. It took so much prep, though...took me by surprise at simply choosing the selections, printing, titling, unboxing and reboxing, etc. I don't think I could do this as a routine!
