Western Screech-Owl Winks

I'm not sure he was winking actually as he may have been sleeping and wondered who had wandered into his space. We were told he likes sitting under the eave of the lanai where the sun heats the adobe. He's now visited 3 times in the past 5 days - very exciting! I'd never seen one before.
