The Spaulding family donated their home to become the site of a small art museum. While Jim worked at Kathy's (my friend/colleague) house and did our laundry, Kathy, her sister, and I went to the museum. Interesting small collection -- one section was on visual representation of music/sound. Another was a David Hockney exhibit of a set he designed for the Lyric Opera. The grounds are amazing -- so this is how the 1% live! The house was built by a well known NY architect in the 1920s and around 2001, a second pavilion was added to expand the space for the museum. This was the view toward the sea, and you can see Diamond Head crater in the distance.

Sounds fascinating! I wish I could have joined you to see such an intriguing exhibition. Hmmm .. . . makes me think -- I wonder what it would look like to make a visual representation of music.sound? Sounds like a get-pushed to me. I really like how you have framed Diamond Head with such a thick, luscious natural frame.
