A totally silly shot but the best I could come up with in the middle of winter with arctic temperatures when drawing 'insect' and 'sign' for my tag challenges. I thought about going with the general one, but decided to push the boundaries a bit. IF an alien insect landed in Manhattan, clearly it would need a 'sign reader' in the form of a map. So, here you go...alien insect studying map of Manhattan before venturing out to learn about humans on earth.

Tee Heeee !! so cute and harmless !! He looks bewildered at the maps -hope he doesn't poop on them !! Such a fun shot - never read or tried any challenges -- perhaps one day !!
@beryl@joeyc THanks for your comments Beryl and Joey. Definitely you should do some of the challenges. They are so low stakes and totally fun, and at the same time it forces you to think differently. I suggest starting with tag challenge as you can see, almost anything goes. The other ones that are fun to start with are the mundane abstract and mundane challenges as it's all about being creative with some everyday item. Watch for Technique Challenges and Camera Setting Challenges as those are great ways to learn something new! It's a very safe place here so you might as well take advantage of these sorts of events.
@maggiemae Thanks for the positive comment! Actually, on Beaver Island there is a store called the Toy Museum that has all these little rubber toys for a few cents to maybe a quarter. I bought a few little things while I was there. Next summer I'm going to pick up some rubber bugs!
