Triangle in the Clouds by taffy

Triangle in the Clouds

Holiday weekend so things are quiet. After furniture shopping (accomplished: living room sofa, now ordered), and being a bit tired of architecture, sunsets, moons, and flowers, I thought I'd use the strainer challenge to do something different. I spent an inordinate amount of time with this strainer in various stages of light from a very bright sunny day. One thing led to another -- decided I needed to learn to do multiple exposures with this camera, since I'd missed that theme earlier which is how I ended up with this shot:
1. Strainer against white chair of onion fame to create the shadow/triangle
2. Clouds reflected in glass table top
3. Cropped to create a square for better proportion for the triangle.
Then noticed the light coming in through a set of closed blinds...thought P3 might want to come out and play...ended up with double exposure found in main album:

I really like this shot. I would love to do double exposures sooc. I like the textures of the wall, the shadow, and the clouds. It works very well. Fave of course.

Great shape you have created here Taffy!! I tried to do double exposure in camera but could not find out how to do it with my Canon. My post processing not good enough to do it on the PC!! Doh!!

I did a double exposure in the camera but went in a totally different direction. I have to store this sort of idea in my head for future reference.
