I think this shot works because you have 3 distinct architectures but the window colours are consistent throughout. They are different but belong in the picture together, like sisters perhaps.

Thanks all. David, I hadn't thought about it, but you are exactly right -- without the common color and I think the luck of the blue sky -- it wouldn't have been as workable a shot.
@automaticslim Wow -- thanks for the fav! I too love taking architecture shots and Chicago's such a good location for it. I can't wait for the weather to warm up.
