Dancing Flame, Revisited by taffy

Dancing Flame, Revisited

Still learning the processing tools. This was part of a series of flames I'd taken February 3rd, but one that was not previously posted. Today, I processed it with Nik Color Efex Pro 4, within Aperture. Then re-processed in Aperture working with color levels and black point. I don't think I could replicate it but I'm starting to get a feel for the possibilities.
This is a different one taken the same night and not processed:

Neat! It seems very liquid. I love that blob over on the right side.

@dyswis @brav @breigh @gerry @kazlamont @pflaume @anwan Thanks for your support. Lisa and Kazzy, I agree -- so interesting how different the processing makes it look. Gerry, thanks so much for the fav!

Very interesting. I prefer this to the unprocessed version. I like your experimentations, makes me want to play with software too.

@danielwsc Thanks! Processing is mostly my focus this week and I'm having a lot of fun with it. There are so many different looks to create from a single photo.
