Why it's important to always carry a camera! The sky was as clear tonite as I can remember. We spotted the moon and I had Jim stop the car so I could get out and take a few pictures 'just in case' -- but the plan was to get home quickly so I could go up to the roof and shoot. But as we drove home, it was amazing to see that less than a mile south, the moon was no where near the skyline -- was south and totally isolated from anything. So, I'm going with the quick, non-tripod, wider aperture and shorter exposure, 'cause that's all I've got.
In my main album is the shot from dusk -- such a crisp day! http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-04-24
Love this shot. I would love to check out Chicago. I think I will put this on my bucket list. I have been there before but too many years ago. I am glad you posted these.
