Technicolor for today was purple and there are these beautiful purple flowers down the street from our house, on little bushes that are in full bloom. Being the gardener, not, I don't know what they are but they were definitely fun to photograph. For my 'something to work on' today, I decided it would have to be a square. Of the various shots, this one seemed to work best.

And Jan and Ann, thanks for giving me the name. I didn't know rhododendrons would bloom when they were that little (being the not-gardener, the one bush I have 'nurtured' in Michigan is now about 4 feet high, but only has a few blooms each year. So THIS is what it is supposed to look like!!)
@taffy LOL Taffy. I think there are things you can do to get more blooms. For me it would be to net mine to keep the deer from eating the new buds as they set. It's hopeless really. : )
