Daryl - thanks for the idea for a more fun title! Journal entry...no artistic merit...just for my record of the year. This is the main section of a doggy "wheelchair," recommended by our vet as offering hope for Nutmeg to be able to get around again sort of on her own. Jim just picked it up today. It may not work for her -- she didn't love her first try, but she has a lesson tomorrow at PT. We'll see!
This reminds me of the old Drew Carey show - he had a golden retriever named Speedy, who zipped around in one of these. Hope Nutmeg takes to it - it could give her better mobility.
Good luck! For a little laugh, your photo looks like the frog is wearing the wheelchair as shades--perhaps future is looking bright with these shades. Warm wishes coming Nutmeg's way. :)

Thanks KW, brav, Vanessa, and Kim. And Elke @timandelke I had such a good laugh when I thought of that. The update -- Nutmeg wasn't thrilled. She seemed to be saying that she had no interest in going for long walks so why were we making her do this! We're going to have her take another lesson on Tuesday and maybe on Thursday, but we think it's not likely to be a good option for her. The thing is actually sort of heavy and takes some strength (and motivation) for a dog to want to use it. Nutmeg is the laziest dog (of the laziest breed) we've ever known, so I guess we should not have been surprised at her reaction.
@danielwsc@wendyhgill Thanks Daniel and Wendy. I suspect it won't work out for her to use it. It was worth a try - and she'll have another lesson, but she really looked like she thought we were crazy to make her try it.

LOVE that title that you and @darylo collaborated on!
