Our friends were flying out this afternoon and the Township Airport was hopping! There were two single engine planes on the ground. A small private jet landed just before this one. Then this Fresh Air Aviation flight came in, with another right on its heels. A GREAT opportunity to practice panning! And I had a choice between four that came out. I chose this one because it is one of the Fresh Air flights -- the main service we use for getting on and off the island. And I liked that while the trees are a bit blurry, you can still see patterns.
oh, I LOVE this! I love the blurriness of the trees and the sharpness of the plane, and that you can still see the whirring movement of the propellers. Nicely composed, too!

Thank you all for viewing and commenting! I'm lucky in that I can stand right next to the runways practically, so with my telephoto, it's pretty do-able to capture the movement as the planes come in. I was just lucky there were so many within a short period as it's usually and hour or hours between landings!
