Here's my display! It's as you enter the door. Jokingly (I'm sure) referred to as a place of honor, but I suspect I got it because there is a horrible glare from being so close to the windows. New girl on the block and all...But still pretty official looking and exciting. (For background, see main album photo at http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-07-16).
A significant portion of the proceeds goes to support the important Beaver Island Historical Society that, not surprisingly, is a main sponsor of Museum Week.
Update Wednesday evening. My friend who volunteered at the art show today just called to tell me two of my paintings actually sold. Whoo-hooo!!!!!! Both were of the harbor -- the one with the ferry you can see in the photo and the larger one in the top row that is a glare in the photo. So exciting!!!

Thanks Ana, Carol, and Pauline. We'll see if anyone like the photos enough to actually pay for them! I'm glad it is going to a good cause and hope that mine aren't the only ones still sitting unwanted on Friday afternoon!

Thanks all! It is exciting and sort of unreal. I like that's it's a pretty 'safe' place -- even if no one is interested in buying any, people are really nice on the island so will be encouraging that I even submitted. There are some really outstanding professional artists who live or summer here so what is most fun is being able to be 'behind the scenes' with them.

Thanks Al, Katie, and Lisa. Today was soooo cool as one of today's volunteers is a friend of mine who called me tonite to say two of them had sold. So exciting!! Hard to believe how much I've learned this year!
@danielwsc Thanks Daniel -- thank heaven for being able to order on the internet! You can imagine that there's no supply line for framing anything up here. @cathieg Thanks so much Cathie!
Bravo!!! What a joy you must feel. Congratulations on being in the Art Show that is a feet in itself, but two of your photos purchased and the money going to a good cause, that is really special. The framing is fabulous which compliments your photos. All the best and I pray all of them sell. We'll be asking for your autograph soon.
Congrats, Congrats, Congrats !!!!! Make us a pp/slideshow/collage so we can see all your images you exhibited . . . I recognize the two in the foreground.
