My plan for today's photo was influenced by the Michael Kenna artist challenge. If you look very very closely in the lower right, sort of to the right of the pink (in color version in main album: http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-07-17 ), you'll see a small boat anchored. My plan was to do a long exposure to have the ripples in the lake disappear, feature the boat, with a light shadow of High Island in the distance. Clean, elegant, and quite wonderful in my head. BUT, instead you have an anything but simple and elegant image because of the huge storm clouds. Poor little boat is just a little spot. This b&w version is for B&W Wednesday.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments on the biplane which flew over to PP for a visit and actually spent the whole day there!
And update on the Museum Week art show display -- two of my photos were purchased!!! Both harbor scenes, one with the ferry and one with a ominous sky. Whoo-hoo!!!! I won't have to skulk in on Saturday to pick up all my photos -- at least two will be gone!

@pamknowler@susale@yaorenliu@38dcmoder Thanks for checking out the b&w. And Dawn, thanks for the fav! I am still leaning toward the color one, but it always amazes me to see the same photo in color and b&w as they are SO different in mood.
