It was truly an awesome night. Beaver Island Community Center tries to have various events over the summer, but tonight they outdid themselves in phenomenal music. This photo was of the finale when members of the Nairobi Chamber Chorus left the stage and positioned themselves on the stairs on either side of the audience and along the front. On the stage was the young woman, an incredible soloist, the conductor just to her left, and a few others on the stage in the background. The sound of their music was like living stereo. If you ever have a chance to hear them, I would highly recommend. Who would ever have guessed we'd have this opportunity on the island?
I think it´s great that different events are organized on your island, all your activities sound great. I really like the composition on this shot; the female singer on light and the other on shadow giving it a mysterious feel and somehow very fragile atmosphere, I bet it was really great seeiong this live.
beautiful shot - at first I couldn't tell who was in the front or back which gave it a sense of mysterious illusion, which I really liked. What a great job Ann is doing - this is fantastic for the island.
