From the roof -- my go-to spot when I don't get away from the house -- I used my 70-300mm handheld during the golden hour, looking east over the "Loop" downtown business district area. Weirdly, the golden tones made the scene look sort of cartoon like rather than elegant (my plan) so I converted to b&w and liked the way it heightened the patterns.
Shot of the moon from a little later is in my extras album. As you can see, it was a very clear night. http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-11-10
I like how when you zoom in this much, at first glance you see more similarities than differences in architecture -- initially. But then you look closer and see all the unique features.
Wonderful B&W image Taffy! Love all those lines and shapes! I love your view from the rooftop! Your processing has brought out all the detail that you sometimes miss with colour! Fav!
Great b&w! Your city pics makes me want to live in a big city myself, I really like how you compose and process these, each one of these look so elegant and stylish!
It looks like one of those puzzles where all the blocks fit together to form a cube. Thousands of permutations, only 1 solution...I think its called the Bedlam Cube.
