I saw earlier today that the new ETSOOI theme was silence, and it was one of those days where I didn't get away from the house. So, it was up to the roof, my go-to spot when weather permits. I thought it can't get more silent than on the moon, os an image of it was the next best thing to being there.
Edited in Aperture for basic cropping and sharpening, then in Nik Sharpener, then used Color Efex filters to increase contrast. I'd been wanting to try some crescent or half-moon shots so this seemed a good opportunity.

You captured amazing detail in the moons surface. I cannot get moon shots to turn out. Your roof sounds like a wonderful oasis - what a view you have from there.
