On my way between campus and a meeting at the Art Institute, I walked via Millennium Park with a plan to take photos of Cloud Gate ("the Bean") in the snow. Turns out, the Bean in the snow is basically a big white blob. And the lake was an even bigger white blob. But, in the end, I was pretty happy with how this one on the bridge came out. Processed in Silver Efex -- still working on bw through the book club trying to document the city in the snow. This one captures the pretty side. In the overflow album is typical of the grimier side of walking around the city today - http://365project.org/taffy/special-photos/2014-02-05

@mara19500 Thanks Mara. As I get more and more into b&w, it becomes an increasing challenge, but there is so much more, to me, that you can do with it artistically. It feels like I have more control for some reason, as the 'artist,' than I do with color. Thought I do like to work in color, of course!
