The conference plenary speakers were hosted for a visit to Knosos and the Palace (where the Minotaur roamed), followed by lunch at Opus, somewhere in the town's meandering streets. This doorway was across the square and throughout lunch, this pigeon kept coming back to its perch at the top. I liked the doorway.
I like it, too, and I like your capture of it! With my back to it, I never paid much attention to it . . . interesting what we all see differently. glad you saved the image for us.
