By this time in our walk, our fingers and toes were numb, so this was from my final set of shots. I used focus stacking as I was hoping I could get a clear focus on the trees and sunsetting sky in the distance, as well as all the layers of temple, from base through dome. I admit, I was happy with how this came out. The end of a wonderful day!
Junko's from the same time period (but without a tripod as she said her fingers were too cold to open it) is here: http://365project.org/jyokota/365/2016-01-22
She's amazing at how clear she got the shot without a tripod!
Fav for your glowing beauty here! Setting up the tripod again worked out with all that focus stacking. I leaned against a pole for stability but only took three exposure HDR. Can't wait to go again when it's covered in snow next. So many possibilities.
Wow, your stacked shots came out sharp as a tack. Wonderful result for this shot... as @jyokota says, a "glowing" building. The sun, setting in the background, adds to the beauty. Good for you, to brave the cold and fuss with the tripod.
this is lovely... i wonder if you need to focus stack at that distance? i would have thought you were far enough back from the temple for f/11 or so to get it all?
