Sun Goes Into Hiding at Night

The overall sunset last night was fairly disappointing, but I used a telephoto for the section of sky that really attracted attention. Didn't think there would be much worth posting til I downloaded. I was struck by the rim lighting across the clouds and the brilliant orange/reds.

Love the copper edge around the clouds! Quite a spectacle! We haven't had much in the way of pretty sunsets at the beach this summer. The sun's been going down without much color at all.
