We're Not on Beaver Island Anymore

As much as I love Chicago, it's jarring after a summer on Beaver Island, where seeing 2 people walk by on the beach constitutes a 'really busy day.' Heavy traffic on the island means passing more cars than deer. Ah...rush hour...joy.

Oh, no! When I was younger, I loved to visit cities. Now, they just hold no appeal for me at all. I don't even like having to go into Raleigh, and it's no where close to being the size of Chicago.
